Finale picks up shortly after the fates were released from the Deck of Destiny. Instead of a contained Caraval game, this book takes place in the city of Valenda, where the immortal Fates are now free, dangerous, and causing chaos.
Unlike the previous books, which largely focused on one sister, Finale alternates between Scarlett and Donatella's perspectives. This was my favorite change!
